My performance art involves issues of identity and status. It is a collage where I have been able to combine different sources associated with exploitation of women -- sexual seduction, pain, suffering, vulnerability, one's control over another, pleasure, masturbation, enjoyment, love -- and can join these into one piece of art. I use my body and sexuality as a vehicle to communicate to the world. Performance art, thus, opens the door to presenting issues in a way that is accessible to diverse segments of society and hopefully challenges and changes the viewer's perception of important social issues.
